Length and Cost:  Recommended program durations are 45, 60 and 90 days. The usual standard program is 45 days. 30 days is available as an introduction to recovery for those not able to commit to longer more optimal durations. Alcoholism and other addiction are potentially fatal diseases affecting all aspects of a person's life, requiring intensive therapy for healing to be effective and to effect changes to support a new healthy life in recovery, free from alcohol and other drugs. The focus is on healing and learning new life skills, learning to live life on life's terms without the need or desire to reach for alcohol or other addictive substances or behaviors to change the way one feels.
